Waffles

1-3/4 cups wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 
teaspoon salt

2 eggs
1-3/4 cups milk
1/2 
cup olive oil

1. In a medium bowl stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Make a well in center of flour mixture; set aside.

2.In another medium bowl beat eggs slightly; stir in milk and oil. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened (batter should be slightly lumpy).

3.Bake in waffle baker per manufacturers instructions.

Makes 12 to 16 (4-inch) waffles

Italian Dressing Seasoning Mix

A dry mix that can be used in other recipes.

3  tsp garlic powder
2  tbsp onion powder
4  tbsp ground oregano
2 tbsp dried parsley
4  tbsp salt (adjust to your own personal preference)
2 tsp black pepper
2  tsp ground basil
½  tsp ground thyme
1 tsp dried celery flakes

Ketchup (Modified Copycat Heinz)

Directions:
Prep Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 25 mins
  1.  Whisk together ingredients and simmer in a saucepan for 20 minutes.
  2.  Allow mixture to cool and refrigerate until needed.

Chocolate Ice Cream (Dark)

1 can coconut milk
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
¾ cup raw honey
1 T vanilla
¾ tsp salt
¼ cup raw virgin coconut oil
¾ cup raw cacao powder

Combine all ingredients in high-speed blender, and blend until smooth. Pour into ice cream maker and process according to manufacturer’s directions.

For added variety, flavor, and color, you can top ice cream with nuts, berries, or coconut milk.

Crispy Baked Chicken

·    1/2 cup cornmeal
·    1/2 cup wheat flour
·    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
·    1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
·    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
·    1/4 teaspoon pepper
·    1/2 tsp garlic powder 
·    1/2 tsp paprika
·    1 (3 1/2) pound broiler-fryer chicken, cut up (chicken breast instead)
·    1/2 cup milk (add 2 eggs to thicken the milk to help it stick to the chicken/slightly decrease the amount of milk)
·     1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted  (For less grease decrease to 1/4 cup butter, but make sure chicken is slightly coated)
                 
Combine the first six ingredients. Dip chicken in milk, then roll in the cornmeal mixture. Place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Drizzle with butter. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees F for 50-55 minutes or until juices run clear. For crispier chicken cook longer.

Snickerdoodles

1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup maple syrup
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
½ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup blended oats (after blended)
¼ Tablespoon cinnamon

Stir maple syrup, add egg, vanilla, baking powder, stirring well.  Mix in flour.  Cover bowl and chill dough in refrigerator for one hour.  Roll dough into one inch balls. Place balls about two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.

Herb de Providence

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons dried savory
  • 2 tablespoons dried, crushed lavender (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried, crushed rosemary
Preparation:
Stir the herbs together and store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
This herbs de Provence recipe makes 10 tablespoons or slightly less than 2/3 cup of Provencal herb blend mixture.

Chicken Alfredo

3 Chicken Breast cooked
1 Cup heavy Whipping cream (Fresh and Easy)
3 Chives chopped
2-3 Garlic cloves minced
½ cup pasta water
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp Herb de Providence (view recipe below)
½ tsp sea salt
3 TBS whole ground wheat flour
3-4 cups vegetables
Add extra herbs or spices to flavor for your taste.


Combine all ingredients in saucepan and cook till thickened.

3 cups Water (no need to heat)

9 cups Wheat flour
6 tsp Baking powder
3 tsp Sea Salt
4 ½ cups Water (no need to heat)
3/4 cup Olive oil
3 Egg (optional to help stick together)
Mix wet and dry ingredients
Dough should be sticky shape with greased hands
Place into 1, 2, or 3 greased loaf pans or in 1, 2, or 3 large circles/bread bowl shape on ungreased cookie sheet.
Dab tops with olive oil and sprinkle oregano on top (optional).
Bake at 400 for 40 minutes
Great for dipping in olive oil, oregano, pepper.
Also good for everyday bread use.
